Mont St. Michel

The « Wonder of the Western World » forms a tower in the heart of an immense bay invaded by the highest tides in Europe.
The Abbey:
Mount dedicated to St. Michael in 708, was, with Mount Gargano in southern Italy, an early place of worship of the Archangel Michael. The abbey is a complete panorama of medieval architecture: the XI to the XVI th century.

Open every day except 1 January, 1 May, December 25.
From May 2 to August 31 from 9:00 to 19:00, last entry at 18:00.
From September 1 to April 30 from 9:30 to 18:00, last entry at 17:00.
